I used 300 white lights on a green wire important! I am always collecting decorations here and there. For lighting and decoration, I went simple yet elegant. Yes, I am twisting the garland from the layer above to the below one together as you indicated.
Finish it off with baubles of your choice! Fold fabric under one inch from the top and secure with T-pins. In the end, you will want one that is or gets tall.
You can find them at flea markets and garage sales, or even buy one brand new from a sewing store. I would love to see a picture of it if you do make one.
Addie says: You'll notice most of these DIY tutorials use chicken wire and evergreens. You can purchase them on Ebay and Amazon for good prices. I bought my dress form and garland next will be chicken wire.
